According to the Millcreek Police Department, Fike was traveling westbound on Interchange Road on a motorcycle when the crash occurred. A white SUV driven by a 24-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on the roadway and was attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Interstate 79 when the two vehicles collided.

Investigators said the motorcycle struck the SUV during the turning maneuver, causing a violent impact that threw the motorcyclist from the motorcycle. Despite emergency crews responding quickly, Fike was pronounced dead at the scene and was officially declared deceased by the county coroner.

The SUV driver survived the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities reported that her injuries were considered minor. No additional injuries were reported following the collision.
